That mirage shot is gonna be a bitch to watch :)<br /><br />I think that TV as a medium is going to get less and less important and they'll be adding commercials at the bottom of the screen. And they already have iPod-like tv sets that can grab signals from local channels. All on a tiny screen.<br /><br />And frankly we have a young generation that doesn't care much about TV and feels entitled to getting everything for free.<br /><br />I think another problem is that we have too many entertainment options, and thus will diminish the better ones with, as the 200-channel exec said, will lead to more mediocrity.Jimnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-731677775148546456.post-18877736485483061162010-01-20T16:52:17.001-08:002010-01-20T16:52:17.001-08:00Yep. When I grew up, we had about 4 channels. That...Yep. When I grew up, we had about 4 channels. That's about the same amount I can handle now. It's a sad state of affairs. <br /><br />The question is, will it get any better? Or do we have to hit rock bottom first? <br /><br />Or is the nature of the audience such that this sub-standard fare is tolerable and this is as good as it's ever gonna get?<br /><br />What do people in your neck of the woods say?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
